Fractions level 2.1

Today for maths we were doing fractions. We mostly focused on finding equivalent fractions but we did work out mixed and improper fractions as well. I honestly found this lesson quiet interesting when it came to the equivalent fractions, because I learnt a new way to find the equivalent fraction. Before I would take the long way to solve equivalent fractions, but now I know it's just better to just multiply or half it.

Terrific Transformations

Today during the maths period, we where learning about enlargement, lines and order of symmetry, and reflections. We learn't a bit about each of those transformations.

Naughts and Crosses

This week we have been reading about protests and movements. Today we read two chapters from Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. Check out my slides to learn about my opinion of the text.

Women's Suffrage

Today we looked at protests in New Zealand and different ways that protests happened. We also looked at the few different protests that went on throughout history. Protests are a great way to get attention and stand up for what you believe in.

Great Geometry

Today for the short amount of time we had for maths, we made our own 3D shapes, and looked at some geometry.

My Cupcake Description.

The sweet taste of the chocolate icing is overwhelming, and the face of the cupcake taste as good as it looks. Everything about the cupcake taste great. When I think about the taste I just keep thinking yum!
