Today we have learned how fractions and decimals relate. I only did both levels 1 and 2 but I hope you enjoy :)

Smashing Fractions

 

For today's maths we did fractions. We did equivalent fractions, improper fractions and mixed. The revision was a mix of the three and addition and subtraction. After doing the revision slide I moved onto level 2.5, I honestly found it quite easy but when I did the level 3 slide I struggled. But it was still fun and it made me realise what I could do.

Today for maths we did fractions. We converted the improper fractions into mixed fractions. 

Conquering Fractions 1

Today during maths we went back to learning about fractions, decimals, a bit of measurements. We did equivalent fractions as well as adding and subtracting fractions and decimals. During this lesson I was reminded of how to make 2 fractions with different denominator have the same denominator.

Fractions level 2.21

For maths we were doing fractions. We mostly focused on finding equivalent fractions but we did work out mixed and improper fractions as well. I used to take the long way to solve equivalent fractions, but now I know it's just better to just multiply or half it, which is what I have done for this. Honestly I struggled with adding the fractions, but I got the answer with a bit of help from Miss Stone's little lesson.

I honestly found this lesson quiet interesting when it came to the equivalent fractions, because I learnt a new way to find the equivalent fraction. Before I would take the long way to solve equivalent fractions, but now I know it's just better to just multiply or half it.
