This week we've been focusing on writing cinquains. Cinquains are poems made with only 5 lines and 22 syllables. A cinquain is similar to the Japanese poem called haiku, but a cinquain is american. On the sixth slide is a slide with a few of my cinquains, I made some with the help of a friend.

Alberto Giacometti was an artist who made different types of art. He was a sculptor, painter, draftsman and printmaker. At the time he made art most sculptures weren't as thin and skinny as Alberto's sculptures, Alberto made his sculptures skinny so they stood out from others, so there was something more eye catching and different.

While learning about biodiversity I made this poster to show what biodiversity is, what some of the causes to biodiversity are and what effects biodiversity loss can have on the world and it's environment. I wrote most of this using information I already knew, but I did have to do a bit of research.

This week we are learning about biodiversity and biodiversity loss. Biodiversity is the large variety of living organisms on earth. Unfortunately our biodiversity is decreasing, we have been learning more about how it is decreasing through out the world. During the amount of time we have been learning about this I have found out many things I didn't know before.

Today for maths we did some slides on something we have already done. It was like a recap on statistics and probability. The maths today was quick and simple but still fun to do. 

Algebra everywhere

Today for maths we did some more algebra, and we graphed it as well. After finishing the slides Mrs Stone gave us a short pop quiz. I found this interesting as I have never actually done a little pop quiz kind of thing in class.
